The Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Shell Pack features high-quality hybrid maple shells, with an inner ply of wenge, sandwiched between plies of maple, offering a great balance of frequencies with clear, warm tones. The shells are ideal for any styles of playing, offering a consistently rich tone whether you are playing at minimum or maximum volume levels.
YESS III Tom Mount
Yamaha have implemented their advanced YESS III mounting technology, providing reduced acoustic dampening and allowing you to get the best sound out of your drums. The mounts allow the shells to vibrate more freely, bringing out the best of the shells natural sustain and volume.
Hook Lugs
The Yamaha Hybrid Shell Pack features classic hook lugs, offering effortless head replacement alongside precision tuning, and even high-tension tuning. The lugs were designed to maximise tone output from the hybrid shells, featuring a small form factor for minimal interference. With a polished chrome finish, the lugs match the rest of the shell hardware whilst complementing the overall appearance of the kit.
Bearing Edge Shape
The Absolute Maple Hybrid Shell Pack features a bass drum with a bearing edge angle different to that of the tom and snare shells. A 30°/R1.5 edge is used on the bass drum, offering enhanced low and mid frequencies for a more powerful sound to accompany the higher frequencies produced by the toms and snare. The combination of bearing edges results in a stunning tonal balance across the entire kit.
Perfect Foundation Setup

The DTX10K-M defines the new high end of the Yamaha E-Drums range with Yamaha‘s new Mesh Head Pads. Packed with professional sounds and features for serious players who demand cutting edge performance, it uses Yamaha‘s distinctive technology to create a real flagship electronic kit. It combines Yamaha‘s world class acoustic drum history with the newest in digital drumming, sampling, and music technology.
Thanks to it’s 17 inch PCY175 3-zone cymbal pad with positional sensing, the voicing on this electronic kits ride cymbal is more real than ever before, realistically emulating the dynamics and articulation that can be achieved with an actual ride cymbal!
The DTX10, which uses the DTX-PROX module, is the new flagship of the Yamaha e-drums range, offering a highly realistic feel, superior sound, precise workmanship, and an authentically natural look. Various connectivity options for computers and mobile devices like Bluetooth® and USB turn the DTX10 into comprehensive control centres for percussive sounds.
The mesh versions of the pads offer a custom Remo mesh head designed to be easy to play with and quiet. The new drum pads use real birch drum shells and share the naturally elegant look of their acoustic counterparts as Yamaha offers the same exquisite Black Forest and Real Wood finishes used for its acoustic drums. The lugs and hoops are also taken from high-end acoustic drums, sporting an appropriately high-quality finish.
The flagship set DTX10 features the KP128 – a particularly refined Kick Pad with a 12-inch mesh head and multi-layer cushion head surface. The third tom pad is a 12-inch floor tom. The cymbals consist of 13-inch and 15-inch crashes.
The new PCY175 3-zone ride cymbal pad measures 17 inches, the largest cymbal pad Yamaha has ever made, and close to an actual ride cymbal size.
All DTX10 series cymbal pads feature three zones – edge, bow and bell – that can be triggered and stopped, just like choking a real cymbal.
The DTXPROX Drum Trigger Modules offer outstanding sonic quality and brand-new samples that were recorded in world-renowned studios with the highest precision in dynamics and resolution. Great importance was attached to reproducing the crucial attack and decay behaviour of individual drums and cymbals, and to add extra realism, the sound of the studio rooms themselves was captured and can be added back to the drum kit.
In addition, the recorded sounds can be fine-tuned with numerous effects that are also used in professional studios and the MONTAGE music synthesizer by Yamaha. The DTXPROX module contains more than 700 sounds, and allows you to import up to 1,000 24-bit custom samples. This way, a multitude of unique sounds can be created, creatively combined and percussively realised.
The DTXPROX module gives players the ability to configure different kits according to individual needs. The kit sounds are all fully editable. Edited sounds can be exported by stereo outputs, USB, and special to the DTX-PROX module, individual outputs – perfect for live and studio use.

The DTX8 is comprised of a KP90 kick pad, an RHH135 hi-hat controller, three 10-inch XP105-X tom pads and a 12-inch XP125SD-X snare pad with two trigger zones for rim click and drumhead articulations. Two 13-inch crashes and a positional sensing 15-inch ride complete the setup.
All DTX8 series cymbal pads feature three zones – edge, bow and bell – that can be triggered and stopped, just like choking a real cymbal.
The DTXPRO Drum Trigger Modules offer outstanding sonic quality and brand-new samples that were recorded in world-renowned studios with the highest precision in dynamics and resolution.
The DTX10 module contains more than 400 sounds, and allows for the import of up to 1,000 16-bit custom samples. This way, a multitude of unique sounds can be created, creatively combined and percussively realised.
The module gives players the ability to configure different kits according to individual needs.
The kit sounds are all fully editable, and edited sounds can be exported by stereo outputs, USB – perfect for live and studio use.

The Yamaha DTX8 combines genuine drum feeling with first-class studio sound.
The DTX8K-X defines the new upper mid-range of the Yamaha E-Drums range with Yamaha‘s unique TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) Pads. The DTX8K-X promises professional sounds, features and looks for players of all levels and is a massive technological step forward. It combines Yamaha‘s world class acoustic drum history with the newest in digital drumming, sampling, and music technology.
The DTX8, which uses the DTX-PRO module, combines the best parts of the DTX6 range released last year and merges it with some of the best features of the DTX10 to make a more cost-effective, great sounding, and equally great-looking e-kit.
Yamaha wanted to bring its e-drums as close to the unique feeling of playing actual acoustic drums as possible – and went back to the drawing board. The DTX8 features completely redesigned Textured Cellular Silicone (TCS) drum pads especially developed by Yamaha.
The TCS pads surface is a silicone cushion housing countless small air chambers that absorb stick hits, create realistic rebounds, and are gentle on the drummer’s wrists. In addition, purpose-built suspensions dampen vibrations, which, combined with the air chamber design, reduces ambient noise and increases trigger accuracy.

The axle stabilising bearing chamber is the blue part next to the chain of the pedal. The frame and bearing cover are independently smoothed and precisely fabricated before assembly, allowing them to be aligned with the central axis of the shaft and ball bearings to provide a smooth rotation.
The Yamaha FP9 Direct Drive Double Pedal features an easy access auto lock spring adjustment. Moving the spring adjustment knob upwards simplifies the tension adjustment process which can often be difficult with certain pedals. The knob is locked at a 90-degree angle that prevents it from coming loose on its own.
The secondary pedal is also equipped with spikes which prevents the pedal from slipping whilst playing and ensures a stable performance.
Smooth Performance
The beater and foot-board angles can both be independently and freely adjusted. The inclusion of an angle checker allows you to easily recreate your preferred settings for maximum play-ability and optimal performance. In addition to this, the tip of the foot-board is equipped with ball bearings, which allows for an even smoother performance.
The secondary pedal is fitted with an all bearing universal joint. This newly designed universal joint adds ball bearings to all axes. This dramatically improves the response of the second pedal and helps you achieve optimal performance.
Key Features
Low-profile stabilising hinge provides a smooth performance
Quick adjusting cam gives the double chain drive fluid movement
Weight adjustable beaters allows you to attain your preferred sound and feel
Equipped with spikes to enable a stable performance
Have full control of the tension on the pedal due to the quick adjusting cam on the Yamaha FP9 Chain Drive Single Pedal. Featuring a quick adjusting cam, the Chain Drive Pedal gains tension gradually throughout the stroke as the pedal is depressed, this tension can be adjusted for optimal playability. The Chain Drive Single Pedal by Yamaha is fitted with a weight adjustable beater which allows you to attain your preferred sound and feel. Included is an aluminium (3g) weight and a brass (9g) weight, both of which can be attached and removed easily. An extremely smooth foot board performance. The Yamaha FP9 Direct Drive Double Pedal features a low-profile stabilising hinge, the blue parts at the bottom of the footplate. These are independently smoothed and precisely fabricated before assembly which allows for a smooth performance. The direct drive creates a direct link between the footboard and the beater. This means that the response between your foot movement and the beater is practically simultaneous. This link has three positions which allows you to fine tune the pedals action to match your preferred performance. This double pedal features weight adjustable beaters, allowing you to attain your preferred sound and feel. An aluminium (3g) and brass (9g) weights are included and can be attached and removed easily. The heel of both footplates is equipped with spikes which prevent the pedal from slipping when playing, enabling a stable performance.
