The BC-X system consists of a BC-X Engine (amp) with a Round Throne Top

The BC-X has identical build quality to the BC2, BC2rm and Gigster, just some simplified features, the aim of which are to give a stripped down lightweight version of the Gigster but still with 75-80% performance – more than enough for most humans!

At only 3 Kg, the BC-X engine is amazingly portable, and as a drummer you will be astounded by how much of a punch this little system can pack.

All P&D thrones are internally equipped with our own UK made Precision Devices transducers.

The BC2 allows you to feel, experience and hear the bass drum like you never felt it before. It consists of our very own Patented throne top with the finest Tactile Generator mounted internally, coupled to a flightcased electronics ‘Engine’ pack. The system delivers powerful and nuanced reproduction, transmitted through bone conduction.

If you’re using in-ear monitoring, you’ll be able feel the bass drum like never before. If you’re not using in-ears, this system so accurately connects you to your bass drum that it will improve your confidence, groove, playing and whole stage experience. It is an absolute revelation in the recording studio!

The BC2 electronics fit into a road rugged flightcased ‘Engine’ pack the size of a 10″ tom case which only weighs 10 kilos. It is extremely portable and, most importantly, is quick and easy to set up. Simply open the case, plug in throne, plug in mic, plug in power and you’re away!

The Gigster is a silent bass drum monitoring system which allows you to feel, hear and experience your bass drum like you never felt or heard it before. It consists of the finest Tactile Generator available, built into our own Patented throne top, and uses bone conduction to deliver powerful, precise and nuanced reproduction without sound.

The Gigster is made from the same superior components as the BC2, and although it has slightly fewer features, it has identical power and performance, giving you great connectivity to your drum kit whilst playing and recording.

Although at Porter & Davies we designed the new Gigster with the working musician in mind making it lightweight and ultra-compact, it is also the weapon of choice for many top pros who enjoy its extreme portability.

It is literally designed as a ‘plug in and play’ and is astounding with both acoustic & electronic drums.
