The Yamaha DTX8 combines genuine drum feeling with first-class studio sound.
The DTX8K-M defines the new upper mid-range of the Yamaha E-Drums range but uses Yamaha‘s new Mesh Head Pads.
The DTX8K-M promises professional sounds and features for players of all levels, and offers a massive technological step forward. It combines Yamaha‘s world class acoustic drum history with the newest in digital drumming, sampling, and music technology.
The DTX8, which uses the DTX-PRO module, combines the best parts of the DTX6 range released last year and merges it with some of the best features of the DTX10 to make a more cost-effective, great sounding, and equally great-looking e-kit.
The mesh versions of the pads offer a custom Remo mesh head designed to be easy to play with and quiet. The new drum pads use real birch drum shells and share the naturally elegant look of their acoustic counterparts as Yamaha offers the same exquisite Black Forest and Real Wood finishes used for its acoustic drums. The lugs and hoops are also taken from high-end acoustic drums, sporting an appropriately high-quality finish.
The DTX8 is comprised of a KP90 kick pad, an RHH135 hi-hat controller, three 10-inch XP105-X tom pads and a 12-inch XP125SD-X snare pad with two trigger zones for rim click and drumhead articulations. Two 13-inch crashes and a positional sensing 15-inch ride complete the setup.
All DTX8 series cymbal pads feature three zones – edge, bow and bell – that can be triggered and stopped, just like choking a real cymbal.
The DTXPRO Drum Trigger Modules offer outstanding sonic quality and brand-new samples that were recorded in world-renowned studios with the highest precision in dynamics and resolution. Great importance was attached to reproducing the crucial attack and decay behaviour of individual drums and cymbals, and to add extra realism, the sound of the studio rooms themselves was captured and can be added back to the drum kit.
In addition, the recorded sounds can be fine-tuned with numerous effects that are also used in professional studios and the MONTAGE music synthesizer by Yamaha. The DTX10 module contains more than 400 sounds, and allows for the import of up to 1,000 16-bit custom samples. This way, a multitude of unique sounds can be created, creatively combined and percussively realised.
The module gives players the ability to configure different kits according to individual needs.
The kit sounds are all fully editable, and edited sounds can be exported by stereo outputs, USB – perfect for live and studio use.

The DTX8K-X defines the new upper mid-range of the Yamaha E-Drums range with Yamaha‘s unique TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) Pads. The DTX8K-X promises professional sounds, features and looks for players of all levels and is a massive technological step forward.
Yamaha wanted to bring its e-drums as close to the unique feeling of playing actual acoustic drums as possible – and went back to the drawing board. The DTX8 features completely redesigned Textured Cellular Silicone (TCS) drum pads especially developed by Yamaha.
The TCS pads surface is a silicone cushion housing countless small air chambers that absorb stick hits, create realistic rebounds, and are gentle on the drummer’s wrists. In addition, purpose-built suspensions dampen vibrations, which, combined with the air chamber design, reduces ambient noise and increases trigger accuracy.

The axle stabilising bearing chamber is the blue part next to the chain of the pedal. The frame and bearing cover are independently smoothed and precisely fabricated before assembly, allowing them to be aligned with the central axis of the shaft and ball bearings to provide a smooth rotation.
The Yamaha FP9 Direct Drive Double Pedal features an easy access auto lock spring adjustment. Moving the spring adjustment knob upwards simplifies the tension adjustment process which can often be difficult with certain pedals. The knob is locked at a 90-degree angle that prevents it from coming loose on its own.
The secondary pedal is also equipped with spikes which prevents the pedal from slipping whilst playing and ensures a stable performance.
Smooth Performance
The beater and foot-board angles can both be independently and freely adjusted. The inclusion of an angle checker allows you to easily recreate your preferred settings for maximum play-ability and optimal performance. In addition to this, the tip of the foot-board is equipped with ball bearings, which allows for an even smoother performance.
The secondary pedal is fitted with an all bearing universal joint. This newly designed universal joint adds ball bearings to all axes. This dramatically improves the response of the second pedal and helps you achieve optimal performance.
Key Features
Low-profile stabilising hinge provides a smooth performance
Quick adjusting cam gives the double chain drive fluid movement
Weight adjustable beaters allows you to attain your preferred sound and feel
Equipped with spikes to enable a stable performance
Have full control of the tension on the pedal due to the quick adjusting cam on the Yamaha FP9 Chain Drive Single Pedal. With a fundamentally revised design, the Yamaha HHS9D Hi Hat Stand offers enhanced durability and stability that is sure to withstand the demands of professional drummers. Crafted with high-quality metal parts, this hi-hat stand is built to last, ensuring that it will be a reliable companion on stage or in the studio.
Flexible setup options
The Yamaha HHS9D Hi Hat Stand is designed to provide you with a flexible and unmatched setup routine. Thanks to its various integrated adjustment mechanisms, you can easily customise the settings to suit your individual vision. With the HHS9D, you have the freedom to create a comfortable playing environment that supports your unique style and technique.
Features:
Ball Bearing and Mirror Finish Footboard Incorporated ball bearings in Yamaha’s Direct Link Sys- tem, the footboard connection points, as well as the hinge sections, ensure smooth footwork in combination with the mirror-shine polished footboard.
Twist to Set Hi-Hat Clutch With the LC9, a new hi-hat clutch got adapted to the HHS9D, allowing clutch nut attachment with a simple twist. While the use of harder felt leads directly to significant sound improvement, the double lock nuts actively prevent unintended loosening during a performance.
Cast Metal Hi-Hat Cymbal Seat Alongside the use of harder felt, the metal cymbal seat en- sures a sharp and rich foot-close sound. Adopted from our HS1200 model, angle adjustment nuts with anti-loosening mechanism, and cymbal cup protectors are also included. In addition, a protective plate complements the hi-hat shaft
360 Memory Lock The new and uniquely shaped memory clamp allows not only for vertical positioning but also for fixation in the rotational direction, ensuring a consistent position of the angle adjust- ment nut.
Alloy Tension Adjustment Dial The adjustment dial for the spring tension is made of du- rable metal featuring an instruction mark on top, for easy identification of rotation direction even during your perfor- mance while confirming the tension strength by indicator.
One-Touch Footboard Angle Adjustment The footboard angle is also freely adjustable via loosening only a single bolt.
Low Position Heel and Anti-Skid Heel Spikes Just like the FP9 and highly requested by our artists, we incorporated our low-profile heel design for much smoother playability. The heel section also sports spikes similar to the FP9, enhancing the overall stability.
Throw and Go Baseplate For easier transport, the baseplate can be fixed in a raised position. To prevent lateral movement of the footboard the connecting plate is made of high-strength metal supporting the aluminium made baseplate. Enjoy this perfect blend of strength and lightweight design.
The Yamaha HW3 Crosstown lightweight hardware set was designed to be the lightest possible weight while maintaining the durability and stability you would expect from Yamaha hardware. The Crosstown hardware set is made almost entirely from lightweight aluminium, with channel-track bracing for incredibly easy height and angle adjustments. The channel-lock legs with nonslip rubber feet minimise vibrations during play to prevent slipping stands.
Are your stands too heavy to lug around or in need of an upgrade? Consider a more modern and lightweight solution with the Yamaha Crosstown hardware set. Weighing in at only 7.8KG in total with the bag, the Crosstown hardware set includes four stands that pack down easily into the included carry bag for effortless transport and easy set up and tear-down at shows.

This kick pad has a durable, rubber material on the bass drum head for excellent feel and quietness and adopts the Yamaha three-layer cushion structure, which produces an optimal feel depending on the strength of the hit.
To faithfully reproduce the feeling from weak hits to strong hits, the softest material is used for the foreground, and a hard material is used for the back side.
Its 7.5-inch diameter is also suitable for use with a double foot pedal with high stability and holding power due to its wide legs and large, anti-slip mechanism on the back and spur. Responds well to any type of pedal or playing style.

If you are looking for a kit with more attack and volume look no further. The Yamaha Hybrid Oak offers that and more!
Redefining the original sound of oak with a new hybrid shell, the new Live Custom Hybrid Oak enhances the dynamic range by accentuating its attack and projection and incorporates the traditional Japanese Uzukuri handcrafted shell finishing, creating a unique look that defines the expression of oak.
The Live Custom Hybrid Oak shell concept is borrowed from Yamahas flagship PHX and Absolute Hybrid Maple kits, which feature a dense phenolic sheet sandwiched between two sheets of oak ply. Always a pioneer in the field of oak drums, Yamaha has enhanced the dynamic range of the new Live Custom by accentuating its attack and projection. The traditional Japanese finishing technique known as Uzukuri has been modified for use on drum shells. In this procedure, the soft areas in the wood grain are sanded and the entire shell is coated with a thin layer of black paint. The surface of the shell is sanded again before the final coating is applied in a process that emphasises the natural beauty of the oak grain. Dark Silver hardware delivers a dominating image further enhanced by black shell interiors. Thicker steel hoops offer a tighter sound and sharper response, and toms and floor toms are equipped with clear Remo Emperor heads, which are known for their deep sound and great durability.

Yamaha MS45DR Electronic Drum Monitor System Specs:
The cymbal pad consists of 3 separate zones, an edge zone, a bow zone, and a cup zone. This enables the pad to recreate the unique sounds that are produced when you hit different parts of a cymbal. The pad responds accurately to subtle differences in dynamics during performance and can faithfully reproduce delicate cymbal playing, powerful hits, and choking.
Its three separate zones - edge, bow and cup - allow the pad to recreate the unique sounds that are produced when you hit different parts of a cymbal. Cymbal swinging and stick rebound are also closely replicated, so that the pad feels natural even for drummers who typically perform on acoustic kits.

Shells The shells of the PHX are 11-ply hybrid shells. The woods used are progressively harder from the centre ply to the outer plies. The centre ply is Jatoba; this is a very hard wood' and it "anchors" the fundamental of the shell. Sandwiched on either side of this is Kapur.
Bearing edges All drums have a 30° bearing edge, but each "family" of drums uses a different profile. Bass drums have a sharper edge cut toward the outer plies. This gives the bass drums attack and shortens the decay. Floor toms have a slightly rounded edge to give them a perfect balance of attack and sustain, making them very articulate at all dynamic levels. Toms have an even more rounded profile for warmth and sustain. This combination of shell composition and bearing edges makes PHX what many of our artists described as "the most musical drums [they] have ever played".
Hardware PHX uses redesigned versions of the Nouveau lug and YESS. The new lug mounts on a square hook rather than a round post. This keeps the tension rod in perfect vertical alignment and eliminates the need to use two hands while tuning the drum. We used the aluminium die-cast hoops made popular on our Absolute series for PHX. These hoops are very light but rigid, giving you the open, warm sound of a triple-flanged hoop and the accurate tuning of a die-cast hoop. Lugs and hoops are available in chrome or gold.
The new version of the YESS mounting system supports the drum at the top and bottom. The new version mounts the tom bracket onto a piece of the shell, and that wooden plate is isolated or shock-mounted using rubber grommets. A 3-piece fastening system is used to attach the new YESS to the shell, and the inside and outside fasteners do not touch. This system totally isolates the drum and allows the full tone to come through and maximizes sustain.
Developed in collaboration with drumming legend Steve Gadd, the Yamaha 14″ x 5.5″ Recording Custom Aluminum Snare Drum includes a handful of special features that set it apart from just another aluminum drum. When you open the box, the drum inside will be equipped with 20-strand snappy snare wires, which is fairly typical. However, you’ll also find a special 10-strand set of wires in the box made to Steve’s preference – it’s really a 14-strand set with four inner wires cut out for a crisper sound! The center bead along the equator of the shell is fixed on the outside to give the drum more openness and fullness. A heavy-duty Q-type strainer gives you smooth, stable snare action and it just feels solid. Aluminum gives you a tastefully bright tone that doesn’t ring quite as much as other metals, so you don’t have to dampen to get the right sound.
