When extra amplification is needed the Meinl Pickup Cajon can be connected to an amplifier or any PA system using a 1/4" jack cable. On the right-hand side of the Meinl Pickup Cajon there are two knobs, one for volume and one for tone. This allows the musician to dial in their own preference of sound, due to the three Piezo pickups that are installed within the Cajon. Two of these pickups are for the snare sounds, and the other is for the bass sounds.
