The Meinl Classics Custom 16" Medium Crash is a cymbal guaranteed to cut through any mix no matter how raucous it gets, without ever sounding brash or OTT. It has a bright attack and plenty of volume, with a nice shimmering decay and natural falloff.
Along with its great sticking response, this crash is very versatile and will serve most styles of music, although heavier genres where volume and cut is key will be served best. Crafted from B10 bronze. The Meinl Classics Custom 16" Medium Crash Cymbal features large hammered peens that take the edge of its glassy qualities just enough to avoid any sharpness.
This is a cymbal that will hold up easily against loud, distorted guitars without strain, so your playing can remain fluid and natural - you don’t need to force this cymbal to be heard.
