  • Emperor — a two-ply head offering more durability and a slightly warmer, more controlled tone than the Ambassador. Available in clear and black suede, plus ProPack Plus sets in Fusion and Rock configurations. The Emperor is the preferred choice for rock and heavier playing styles
  • Powerstroke 3 — a bass drum and snare head with a built-in internal damping ring that reduces unwanted overtones and produces a focused, punchy sound. Available in clear and coated for bass drum (20"/22") and snare (14")
  • Powerstroke 77 — a specialist snare head with a reverse dot and internal damping for a controlled, focused snare sound with reduced ring. Available in coated and clear dot coated

Remo Djembes

Remo's key-tuned professional djembes feature synthetic heads and bodies for consistent tuning and durability in any climate. Available in 12" and 14" in a range of striking designs including Earth, Kintekloth, Green Kintekloth, Salsa Deco, Multi Mask and Artbeat Aux Moon, plus a 16" Earth.

Remo Hand Drums & Frame Drums

Pretuned Renaissance Hand Drums are available in six sizes from 8" to 22", featuring Remo's Renaissance head for a warm, natural tone. Frame drums include the Buffalo Drum (black and white) and Ocean Frame Drum. The Spring Drum and Thunder Tube add distinctive sound effects to the range.

About Remo

Remo was founded in North Hollywood, California in 1957 by Remo Belli, a professional drummer who recognised the limitations of the animal skin drum heads that were standard at the time. Skin heads were highly sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, making them unpredictable in live performance and difficult to maintain. Belli developed the first commercially successful plastic drum head — the Weatherking — which offered consistent performance in any conditions and transformed the drumming world.
