Pre-owned drums are in our DNA. Long before Into Music Store became one of the UK's most respected independent drum retailers, it started with something much simpler - a teenager, his grandad, and a car boot sale.

Jake Harris, who founded Into Music, grew up picking up used drum gear at car boots and second-hand sales with his grandad. As a college student with a passion for drums and a limited budget, Jake understood something that a lot of the industry had forgotten: pre-owned gear is how most people get into music. Not everyone can walk into a shop and buy a brand new kit. But a well-priced, well-maintained used drum kit? That changes everything. It's the difference between someone becoming a drummer and someone not.

That belief has never left us. From those early car boot finds, Jake built a business around sourcing, restoring, and selling quality pre-owned drum gear - and Into Music has grown into one of the biggest independent drum retailers in the UK, with one of the largest collections of pre-owned drums in the country.

Vintage Ludwig, rare Gretsch, early Sonor, Japanese-made gems from the 70s and 80s - if you're a collector or a player who wants something truly special, keep an eye on our pre-owned collection. New Stock Arriving All the Time

Our pre-owned collection changes constantly. We source new stock every week and not everything makes it to the website straight away - particularly rare or unusual pieces that we want to photograph and describe properly before listing.
