- Gently rub the oil onto the fingerboard, working the grime and dirt free
- Wipe off with a dry part of the cloth - it's as simple as that
For best results: use the Dr Liston's Remarkable Cloth - it's perfect for this job. Use the Dr Liston's Remarkable Brush to remove dust from around your frets before applying.
Important - Which Fretboards Is It Suitable For?
Dr Liston's Superior Lemon Oil is formulated for natural dark wood fretboards - rosewood, ebony, and similar uncoated fingerboards. It is not recommended for maple fretboards with a gloss lacquer finish, as these do not require conditioning oil and the formula may affect the lacquer. If in doubt, always test on a small, inconspicuous area first and follow your instrument manufacturer's guidance.
