EFNOTE 5X Electronic Drum Set

The EFNOTE 5X expands the acoustic-style EFNOTE 5 layout with a third tom and a second 16-inch crash. Its black-finished shells, 16-inch mesh-head kick and 14-inch hi-hat pair make a substantial electronic drum setup for players who want more room to arrange fills and cymbal accents, whether practising, recording or preparing a live set.

What sets the 5X apart?

  • Extra tom position: a 10 x 7-inch dual-zone mesh-head tom, 12 x 12-inch dual-zone floor tom and 13 x 13-inch dual-zone floor tom join the 16 x 12-inch mesh-head kick and 12 x 5-inch triple-zone mesh-head snare.
  • Expanded cymbal layout: a 14-inch dual-zone hi-hat pair, 8-inch dual-zone splash, two 16-inch triple-zone crashes and an 18-inch triple-zone ride. The crashes and ride have 360-degree multi-sensors for playing around the cymbal.
  • Sounds you can shape: the EFNOTE 5X module has a touchscreen LC display, 17 preset drum sets, 83 user drum sets, 98 multilayer stereo samples and storage for 50 user instruments.
  • Practice tools: a metronome, rhythm box and onboard recorder help you work on grooves and keep ideas.
  • Recording and MIDI: an integrated USB audio interface offers 8 outputs and 2 inputs, with MIDI in/out over USB and Bluetooth plus a 5-pin DIN MIDI output.
  • Play along: the module's Bluetooth receiver supports music playback from a connected device; a 3.5 mm stereo headphone output supports monitoring. Its mount includes a smartphone tray.
