The EFNOTE PRO 500 Standard Set 4-Piece Electronic Drum Kit with EFNOTE PRO Sound Module combines smaller drum sizes with a straightforward one-rack-tom, one-floor-tom layout. Its 16 × 12" bass drum, 12 × 5" snare, 10 × 7" rack tom and 12 × 12" floor tom are paired with 14" hi-hats and 16" and 18" cymbal pads. It suits drummers who prefer a focused four-piece setup but need flexible sound routing and recording for gigs, worship settings or studio work.
Rather than adding more playing surfaces, the Standard Set concentrates on the core drum and cymbal positions. The smaller shell sizes are worth considering if you prefer a compact drum format, while the included EFNOTE PRO module gives you separate output control and editable sounds. Plan your setup around the cymbal positioning and required accessories as well as the drum dimensions.
A Focused Setup with Stage-Ready Routing
The PRO 500 provides 12 balanced XLR outputs, so a four-piece layout does not tie you to a single stereo drum mix. Send separate drum groups to the console and let the engineer balance kick, snare, toms and cymbals around the band and room. High-pass filters and two-band EQ are available on buses 1-12, with compression on buses 1-6, for shaping signals before they reach the desk.
The two-piece module places a full-colour touchscreen within reach and houses the main connections in a floor-standing base unit. Save and recall settings for different songs or venues, use the bus mixer to build a drummer's monitoring balance, and capture simultaneous USB multitrack audio and MIDI for editing afterwards. Bluetooth audio input also lets you play along with tracks from your phone.
With firmware version 2.0 or later, EFNOTE Desktop Tools lets you create User Tones from your own audio files and manage Instrument Expansions. User Tones and Instrument Expansions are available for kick, snare and tom pads, giving you more options for shaping your drum sounds without changing the playing layout.
