The EFNOTE PRO 702 Modern Set Electronic Drum Kit combines a five-shell, two-rack-tom layout with five cymbal positions and the EFNOTE PRO sound module. Its 20" bass drum, 14" snare, 8" and 11" rack toms and 15" floor tom provide a full-sized electronic setup, while dedicated splash and effects pads add separate surfaces for contrasting accents. The cymbal layout includes 14" hi-hats, an 8" splash, a 17" effects pad, a 16" cymbal pad and a 20" ride. That gives you clearly separated surfaces for timekeeping, short accents and effects parts. The two rack toms and single floor tom offer three tom voices without the additional floor-tom position of a larger configuration.
Dedicated Accents, Flexible Live Mixing
The Modern Set places splash and effects pads alongside the main cymbal and ride, so you can move between different accents without changing kits mid-part. Behind the playing layout, the EFNOTE PRO module provides 12 balanced XLR outputs for sending separate drum groups to the mixing desk. The sound engineer can balance kick, snare, toms and cymbals around the band rather than working with a fixed stereo mix.
High-pass filters and two-band EQ are available on buses 1-12, with compression on buses 1-6, for shaping the output before it reaches the console. A full-colour touchscreen control surface keeps settings within reach, while the main connections sit on a floor-standing base unit.
Save and recall settings for different songs or venues, build a drummer's monitoring balance with the bus mixer, or capture simultaneous USB multitrack audio and MIDI for editing afterwards. Bluetooth audio input also lets you play along with music from your phone.
