Istanbul Agop Special Edition 20" Jazz Ride Cymbal – ISER20
The Istanbul Agop Special Edition 20" Jazz Ride Cymbal (ISER20) delivers a dark, warm and richly complex ride sound with the expressive character associated with traditional Turkish cymbal making. Handmade in Turkey, the Special Edition Series is designed for drummers looking for an organic, nuanced ride with plenty of tonal depth and dynamic sensitivity.
The versatile 20" diameter provides a focused and responsive feel while retaining a rich, full-bodied voice. Stick definition remains clear and musical, surrounded by a complex bed of warm overtones that gives the cymbal depth without an overly bright or clinical character.
Designed with expressive playing in mind, the Special Edition Jazz Ride responds beautifully to subtle changes in touch and dynamics. Light playing produces delicate articulation and controlled texture, while increasing the intensity introduces a broader, more complex wash.
The 20" size makes the ISER20 particularly versatile for jazz, fusion, acoustic music and studio applications. It offers enough definition for detailed ride patterns while retaining the warmth and complexity players expect from a traditionally crafted Istanbul Agop cymbal.
Traditional hand hammering and cymbal-making techniques give the Special Edition Jazz Ride an organic feel and individual tonal personality, making it a compelling choice for drummers who value nuance and musical expression.
