Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 16" Crash Cymbal
The Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 16" Crash Cymbal delivers a beautifully dark, warm and complex crash sound with the organic character of traditional Turkish cymbal making. Handmade in Turkey, the 30th Anniversary Series celebrates Istanbul Agop's cymbal-making heritage with an expressive response, rich overtones and distinctive handcrafted appearance.
At 16 inches, this crash offers a quick, responsive feel that opens easily under the stick. Its compact diameter produces an immediate attack followed by a warm, complex wash, making it ideal for players who want a fast crash without sacrificing tonal depth and character.
The smaller size gives the 16" model a more focused and immediate response than larger crashes within the 30th Anniversary range. It responds beautifully to subtle playing while still providing enough presence for stronger accents, making it a versatile option for both live and studio setups.
Extensive hand hammering and traditional construction contribute to the cymbal's rich, nuanced voice. Rather than the bright, uniform character of many modern crashes, the 30th Anniversary 16" offers a darker and more organic sound that blends naturally with the rest of the kit.
