Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 19" Crash Cymbal
The Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 19" Crash Cymbal delivers a beautifully dark, warm and complex crash sound inspired by the rich heritage of traditional Turkish cymbal making. Handmade in Turkey, the 30th Anniversary Series is designed for drummers who value character, dynamic expression and an organic response.
At 19 inches, this crash offers an excellent balance between fast response and a broad, full-bodied voice. It opens easily under the stick, producing a rich initial attack followed by a warm, complex wash filled with subtle overtones.
Rather than the bright, highly focused sound of a modern conventional crash, the 30th Anniversary 19" has a darker and more nuanced character. Its expressive response allows the cymbal to react naturally to different playing dynamics, from delicate accents through to broad, powerful crashes.
The combination of extensive hand hammering, traditional construction and its distinctive aged appearance gives each 30th Anniversary cymbal an individual character both visually and sonically. This makes the 19" Crash particularly appealing to players looking for a cymbal that feels expressive and musical rather than overly processed or uniform.

Why Choose the Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 19" Crash?
The Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 19" Crash is an excellent choice for drummers looking for a premium crash with warmth, complexity and an unmistakably organic character. Its 19" diameter provides enough size for a broad, substantial crash while retaining the responsiveness needed for more subtle playing.
It's particularly well suited to players who want their cymbals to become part of the musical texture rather than simply providing a bright accent, with a rich voice that responds beautifully to changes in touch and dynamics.
As a traditionally handmade cymbal, individual Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary cymbals can vary slightly in weight, appearance and tonal character. Want to hear this exact cymbal before ordering? Contact the Into Music team and we'll be happy to provide a sound file where available.
