Handmade in Turkey, these oversized hi-hats combine the rich musicality of the 30th Anniversary Series with the broad, expressive response of a larger 16" diameter.
Compared with conventional 14" hi-hats, the 16" size produces a deeper, fuller voice with a broad tonal spread. Played closed, they offer a defined yet warm stick response surrounded by rich overtones. Open them up and the sound develops into a wide, textured wash with plenty of depth and character.
Their larger diameter also provides a softer, more relaxed feel under the stick, making them particularly expressive when moving between tightly closed, half-open and fully open sounds. Subtle changes in touch and foot pressure reveal different textures, giving these hi-hats an exceptionally musical and dynamic response.
