Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Crash Crash Cymbal 20"
The Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark 20" Crash Cymbal delivers a dark, dry and highly responsive crash sound with a distinctive raw character. Designed for drummers looking for something more complex and controlled than a traditional bright crash, the Xist Dry Dark is packed with earthy tones and plenty of personality.
Its 20" diameter gives the cymbal a full-bodied voice with enough presence to work as a powerful main crash, while the dry character keeps the sustain controlled. The result is a quick, expressive response with a dark wash and complex overtones that sit naturally within the music without becoming overpowering.
Part of Istanbul Agop's popular Xist Dry Dark Series, this crash features the distinctive dark, heavily hammered appearance associated with the range. The combination of traditional Turkish cymbal-making techniques and a modern, dry sound makes it particularly well suited to contemporary, alternative, indie, rock, funk and studio applications.
The larger 20" size also makes this a versatile cymbal for players who like to incorporate crash/ride-style playing into their setup, offering plenty of texture when played across different areas of the cymbal.
