Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" Crash Cymbal

The Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" Crash Cymbal delivers a large, expressive crash sound with a dark, dry character and plenty of complex texture. Combining the distinctive voice of the Xist Dry Dark Series with a brilliant finish, this 21" crash is an excellent choice for drummers looking for something darker and more individual than a conventional bright crash.

The larger 21" diameter produces a broad, full-bodied response with plenty of presence, while its dry character helps keep the sustain and wash controlled. It opens up with an expressive attack and develops into a dark, complex spread of overtones, making it equally at home as a powerful main crash or a versatile crash/ride within a larger cymbal setup.

Its combination of size, darkness and controlled response makes the Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" particularly well suited to modern rock, alternative, indie, funk and studio applications where texture and musical character are essential.

Part of Istanbul Agop's Xist Dry Dark Series, this cymbal combines traditional Turkish cymbal-making techniques with a contemporary sound and striking brilliant finish.
