Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Brilliant Crash Cymbal 21"

Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" Crash Cymbal

The Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" Crash Cymbal delivers a large, dark and expressive crash sound with the complex, controlled character of the Xist Dry Dark Series. Combining an oversized 21" diameter with a striking brilliant finish, it offers plenty of body and presence while retaining a dry, textured response.

The 21" size produces a broad, full-bodied crash with a deeper voice than smaller models. It opens up with a powerful attack before developing into a dark, complex wash, while the dry character helps keep the sustain controlled and musical.

Its larger diameter also gives the cymbal plenty of versatility. Alongside its role as a powerful main crash, the Xist Dry Dark Brilliant 21" can be used for crash/ride-style playing, offering additional textures when played across the bow, edge and bell.

The combination of dark overtones, controlled sustain and a broad response makes this cymbal particularly well suited to rock, alternative, indie, funk and contemporary styles, as well as studio situations where a distinctive cymbal voice is required.

Part of Istanbul Agop's Xist Dry Dark Series, this cymbal combines traditional Turkish cymbal-making techniques with a modern tonal character and eye-catching brilliant finish.
