Ludwig Raw Brass Snare Drums are the latest in a new crop of Black Beauty inspired snare drums from Ludwig.
The shells are identical to the Black Beauty, prior to finishing. They are comprised of a 1.2mm hydro-formed brass shell, no patinas or lacquers are applied and each shell is left to age on its own.
No two drums will look alike, but each one carries the distinct tonal palette of a Ludwig Brass Snare. Ludwig Raw Brass Snares are a bit drier than their Black Beauty Counterparts but have a rich set of overtones you can easily dial in to your particular taste. Each snare drum features the new P-88 Throw Off and a new Butt Plate.
