New Hybrid Maple/Poplar Shell Construction (Wood Shell Models)
Inheriting the Mapex “Concept Hybrid” design, the new 7.2mm Maple/Poplar hybrid
shell delivers a warm and vintage sound. Smaller 10” and 12” ‘popcorn’ models are
fitted with tom mounts, for easy side-snare and f/x set ups.
• Mapex Armory Piston Strainer
The Piston Strainer with vertical throw-off enables a quick, comfortable, and smooth
operation and prevents snare wire tension changes while playing. The same strainer is
also used on the Armory “Tomahawk” Snare.
