At the heart of the Mapex Venus Series are 9-ply, 7.2mm poplar shells, producing a warm, full and responsive drum sound. The versatile shell construction makes the Venus equally at home playing rock, pop, indie, funk and a wide variety of other musical styles.
Whether you're rehearsing at home, heading into the studio or playing your first gigs, the Venus provides a versatile foundation that can grow with your playing.
Choose Your Bass Drum Size – 20" or 22"
This Mapex Venus Metallic Copper kit is available with a choice of 20" or 22" bass drum, allowing you to select the configuration that best suits your playing style.
The 20" bass drum offers a compact footprint with a responsive and controlled feel, making it an excellent choice for smaller stages, rehearsal rooms and players who prefer a slightly tighter setup.
Choose the 22" bass drum for the classic full-size drum kit configuration, with additional low-end presence and punch that's particularly well suited to rock, pop and heavier playing.
Metallic Copper Finish
The striking Metallic Copper finish gives the Mapex Venus a distinctive contemporary appearance that stands out without being overly flashy. Under stage lighting, the metallic finish adds extra depth and character, giving this accessible kit the appearance of a much more expensive setup.
Cymbals Included
This Mapex Venus package is supplied with cymbals, helping you put together a more complete acoustic drum setup without needing to purchase all of your cymbals separately.
Combined with the five-piece drum configuration, this makes the Venus an excellent option for players moving on from a starter kit or anyone putting together a new setup for rehearsals, lessons, recording and live performance.
