The Benny Greb signature 14” Quick Sand Hats are influenced by iconic jazz and funk cymbal sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s. Benny utilizes a Pure Alloy B12 bronze top and B20 bronze bottom to blend clear definition under the stick with depth, warmth, and smoothness rounding out the sound. Both cymbals are sandblasted for pre-aged vintage character, and the bottom sound notch prevents airlock while boosting clarity and control. The sound notch is based on modified vintage cymbals used during the ‘70s and ‘80s.
