Jay Postones and Meinl Stick & Brush built these sticks for speed, control, and power. Jay’s subtle refinements make a big impact, and you’ll feel the difference. The 16.5" length adds extra reach, while the short 2.78" taper keeps precision tight and gives the stick a slightly weighted throw. A standard 0.565” grip ensures easy maneuverability. Jay also chose a round tip to dial-up clarity on all surfaces. Made from premium American hickory in a medium-light weight, they balance effortless movement with a solid, responsive feel.
"Fine-tuned for my specific playing style — the perfect drumstick does exist. We refined details so subtle they’re almost invisible, yet you can absolutely feel the difference when playing. With a slightly longer design, the stick provides extra throw for greater power when needed. It’s a beautifully balanced, versatile, and incredibly playable drumstick that I’m proud to put my name on."
