Product Description
The Paiste PST3 18-inch Crash Ride cymbal brings two playing roles together: a fast, powerful crash response and a softer, mellower ride sound. Made from MS63 brass, this medium-heavy cymbal has an even, balanced feel and medium-long sustain. Its relatively narrow tonal range and fairly clean blend of overtones give it a focused character. Part of Paiste's affordable PST3 series, it suits drummers looking for a multi-purpose cymbal that can move between crash accents and ride playing, rather than choosing a model dedicated to just one role.
Key Features
-
Combined crash and ride roles: switch between accents and ride patterns on one cymbal.
-
Fast, powerful crash response: provides an immediate, strong accent.
-
Soft, mellow ride character: offers a contrasting sound for ride playing.
-
Even, balanced feel: a consistent response across its two playing roles.
-
Medium-long sustain: lets the cymbal sound continue after each stroke.
-
Fairly clean tonal blend: a relatively narrow range for a focused overall character.
