The Mr. Muff MiniMuff is a clever, non-destructive external drum dampener developed in partnership between Rohema and Klangmacherei and it's one of the most practical solutions to unwanted drum overtones we've come across. No tape, no moon gel, no permanent modification to your drum. Just a secure, isolated clip that mounts directly onto the drum rim and gets to work immediately.
What sets the MiniMuff apart is its variable damping system. Rather than a fixed amount of muffling, you control the degree of damping by adding or removing weight so you can dial in exactly the amount of sustain control you need, from a subtle tightening of the snare tone to a more pronounced dead sound on toms. Positioning is equally flexible, achieved via velcro for easy adjustment around the rim. When you want the damping off entirely, a concealed magnet handles the on/off function cleanly and quickly.
