The all new Mapex Saturn VI now available at Into Music Store
As well as the classic Maple/Walnut hybrid shells, SONIClear bearing edges and the SONIClear tom suspension system Saturns are kitted out with Nodal Line Air Flow Venting, Low Density Isolation Gaskets and the SAS Static 90deg Floor Tom Leg and Sonic Pedestal Foot. All of these new features were originally devised for the ground-breaking Mapex Black Panther Design Lab kits.
The new Chamber Specific-Nodal Line Air Flow Venting technology ensures that the Saturn Series bass drums and toms are allocated unique air hole placement for each drum. These vents are positioned strategically in alignment with the drum lugs to prevent interference with the shell’s overall resonance.
The Isolation Gaskets and the all new Floor Tom Leg also provide further resonance and tonal clarity from these amazing drums.
