Engineered in Germany, the AQ1 series delivers the signature Sonor tone with 100% birch shells, making it an ideal choice for beginners, intermediate players, and gigging musicians alike.
At the heart of the Sonor AQ1 Drum Kit is itsĀ 9-ply, 7.2mm birch shell construction, producing a powerful, balanced tone with tight low-end, clear mids, and punchy highs. This tonal versatility makes the kit perfect for a wide range of genres including rock, pop, jazz, funk, and studio recording applications.
The kit features Sonorās innovative SmartMount tom suspension system, designed to maximise resonance and sustain by reducing shell contact. This results in enhanced projection, improved tonal clarity, and longer sustain, giving drummers a more open and dynamic sound.Ā
Built for performance, the Sonor AQ1 Drum Kit includes a complete 2000 Series hardware pack, offering everything needed to get started straight out of the box. This includes a hi-hat stand, snare stand, cymbal stands, bass drum pedal, and double tom holder, all constructed with double braced legs for stability and reliability during practice, rehearsal, and live performances.
The AQ1 drum kit is available in popular configurations such asĀ Stage (22ā bass drum) and Studio (20ā bass drum) setups, each including a snare drum, rack toms, and floor tom, giving players flexibility depending on their playing style and space requirements
