The SONOR Kompressor 14" x 6.5" Aluminium Snare Drum combines classic main-snare dimensions with a substantial 2mm aluminium shell, delivering a sensitive and articulate response with plenty of power, body and projection.
Finished in Polished Aluminium with chrome hardware, the Kompressor features SONOR's Optimum Shell Measurement (OSM), 45° bearing edges and 2.3mm steel Power Hoops. The 6.5" depth gives this model additional body and presence compared with the shallower 14x5.75 version, making it a versatile choice for both live and studio playing.
2mm Aluminium Shell
The 2mm aluminium shell provides a responsive metal-shell character with excellent articulation and dynamic sensitivity. Combined with the classic 14" x 6.5" dimensions, there's plenty of depth for stronger backbeats while retaining sensitivity for more detailed playing.
OSM & TuneSafe
SONOR's Optimum Shell Measurement (OSM) uses a slightly reduced shell diameter, allowing the drumheads to vibrate more freely.
