SONOR Kompressor 14" x 5.75" Brass Snare Drum – Black Nickel
The SONOR Kompressor 14" x 5.75" Brass Snare Drum combines a responsive 1.2mm brass shell with versatile 14" x 5.75" dimensions, making it a strong all-round choice for drummers looking for the distinctive character of a brass snare.
Finished in striking Black Nickel with contrasting chrome hardware, the Kompressor features SONOR's Optimum Shell Measurement (OSM), 45° bearing edges and 2.3mm steel Power Hoops. The result is a responsive, powerful snare designed to work across a wide range of tunings and musical styles.
1.2mm Brass Shell
The 1.2mm brass shell provides plenty of projection and sensitivity while retaining the fuller character that makes brass such a popular choice for professional snare drums.
At 14" x 5.75", this model sits in a particularly versatile size for use as a main snare – responsive enough for detailed playing while retaining plenty of body for stronger backbeats.
OSM & TuneSafe
SONOR's Optimum Shell Measurement (OSM) uses a slightly reduced shell diameter, allowing the drumheads to vibrate more freely.
The double lugs feature SONOR's TuneSafe system, helping prevent tension rods from loosening during playing and improving tuning stability.
