Its 6.5" depth provides additional body and presence compared with the shallower 14x5.75 Steel Kompressor, making it a versatile choice for drummers looking for a dependable metal snare for live playing, recording and rehearsals.
Finished in chrome, the steel shell is paired with 2.3mm Power Hoops, SONOR TuneSafe lugs and Remo USA heads for a professional setup straight out of the box.
1mm Steel Shell
The 1mm steel shell delivers the bright, direct attack and strong projection associated with a classic steel snare, while the 14" x 6.5" dimensions provide plenty of body for powerful backbeats.
SONOR's Optimum Shell Measurement (OSM) uses a slightly reduced shell diameter, allowing the drumheads to vibrate more freely across different tunings.
TuneSafe & Power Hoops
SONOR double lugs feature the TuneSafe system, designed to help prevent tension rods from loosening during playing and improve tuning stability.
