SONOR Vintage 13" x 6" Beech Snare Drum – Vintage Pearl
The SONOR Vintage 13" x 6" Snare Drum in Vintage Pearl combines classic SONOR design with premium German-made Beech construction, bringing together the look and character of the company's iconic drums from the 1950s, 60s and 70s with modern manufacturing and hardware.
At its heart is a 9-ply, 6mm Medium Beech shell with fully rounded bearing edges. The slightly smaller 13" diameter provides an interesting alternative to a conventional 14" main snare, while the 6" depth retains plenty of body and presence.
Finished in classic Vintage Pearl, the drum is completed with SONOR's unmistakable Teardrop lugs, Superprofil hoops, TuneSafe tuning system and vintage-inspired Super 50 snare throw-off.
9-Ply German Beech Shell
The Vintage Series is built around a 9-ply, 6mm Medium Beech shell, manufactured in Germany using SONOR's CLTF (Cross Laminated Tension Free) process and Optimum Shell Measurement.
Rather than the sharper bearing edges used on many contemporary snares, SONOR uses fully rounded bearing edges on the Vintage Series. This vintage-inspired shell design is an important part of the range's distinctive response and character.
The 13" x 6" dimensions make this model particularly interesting for players who want something more compact than a conventional 14" snare without moving to an especially shallow or small secondary snare.
Vintage Pearl Finish
