Aluminium Construction
In keeping with the rest of the Spartan series, the HS70S uses lightweight aluminium construction throughout, including hollow aluminium basket arms that reduce weight at the top of the stand without compromising the support structure. Critical wear points use higher-strength materials where they need to — the same design philosophy applied across the Spartan range to ensure long-term durability even under regular, heavy use.
Basket & Tilter
The basket accommodates snare drums from 12" to 15", adjusted via a single T-nut for quick sizing changes between drums. A Gearless Universal Basket Tilter (Quick-Set Tilter) provides smooth, stepless angle adjustment — no ratchet steps, no fiddling — so you can position your snare at exactly the angle you want. The Glide-Tite Grip Joint locks height adjustments securely once set, keeping the stand stable throughout your performance.
