The Gretsch 14" x 6.5" Full Range Series Hammered Black Steel Snare Drum with Wood Hoops is especially characterized by the 13-layer Wood Hoops made of Rock Maple. These give the hammered Black Steel shell an additional warm nuance and at the same time dampen the bright overtones for a round and crisp sound with a lot of dynamics.
