Meinl Pure Alloy Custom Cymbal Set (PAC14MTH, PAC18MTC, PAC20MTR)

This set of Pure Alloy Custom cymbals, with their medium-thin weights, produce a smooth attack with a warm body and fast decay while maintaining a bright shimmer and clean sustain. The 14” hihats are crisp and sensitive, the 18” crash responds with a fast attack and quick decay, and the 20” ride has a warm articulation and a clear bell.

This was specially selected by Jake out of multiples of the same cymbal and will come with the special HAND SELECTED BY INTO MUSIC STAMP on the bottom. Crafted with age in mind, the Vintage voice within Byzance has unique features that simulate the aging process of a cymbal to couple relic sounds with modern appeal. The Vintage line was born from the Sand Ride, a flagship cymbal developed with Meinl Cymbals artist, Benny Greb; now, it includes a wide array of cymbals which have helped to define the Meinl sound. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered into shape. Sand models feature narrow blade lathing and a sandblasted finish, whereas Vintage Pure models are unlathed and raw.

Made in Germany from Pure Alloy Bronze (B12), Meinl wanted to make these Cymbals stand out. A New finish was applied on the top of these cymbals called Custom Smoked-Bronze and a brilliant finish has been left on the bottom. Pure Alloy Custom crashes are slightly warmer with a bright cut and shimmering response.The Pure Alloy Custom ride has a medium-thin weight along with a cutting bell, creating a nice balance of stick attack and wash for wider dynamic range and fuller tonal spectrum.
