The raw unlathed surfaces and extensive hand hammering suggest that their sound might be loud and fierce. In reality, the Extra Dry series reveals its dark, earthy tones and comes to life when played at lower volumes.

The medium thin weight of this B20 cymbal paired with the 16” size delivers a warm and smooth character. Though the high mids are prominent, this cymbal is still somehow a little dark, and it is this pairing that allows this cymbal to be as adaptable as it is.
